The headless goat …
Woke up at 6am again, followed by the delights of porridge garnished with some hundreds and thousands left over from Sara’s party last night … yum. The day began at Joshua`s school with the ongoing work on their classrooms. This involved lots of painting, cementing and pointing which is not easy given the tools we have in Africa !! It was their graduation day and there was lots of music and flamboyant dancing. The only downside to the festivities was having to witness the slaughtering of a goat …. OMG. When I had my photo taken with it`s head the poor goat`s tongue and eyes were still moving ….. freaky.
I have my own fan club as the boys from the secondary school are taking soo many photos with me it feels like I am famous and the boys are calling me “Princess” which my team are finding highly amusing …. I am soo embarrassed. We have a day off tomorrow yeyyyy !! so we are travelling 2 hours to the hyena caves to hopefully see some at 4am !! We are having 7 cans of cider woohoo so there is a flipside, followed by a BBQ and a 3 and a half hour walk back to Pensulu.
My bucket is now ready for me to jump in and have my shower so byeeee for now x x x
