Travelling 21 miles to work during rush hour tests the patience of any driver, especially when my journey involves tackling the A1 Metrocentre traffic twice a day! But it’s cool, I have worked for CCS for over 15 years now and I can genuinely say that we are a team, we have a fantastic atmosphere. Everybody will go out their way to help each other with business matters or if a job needs doing at home somebody will know someone who can help. We have a fantastic stress free working atmosphere and when one of the guys wins a deal we all feel like we have won the business.

At CCS no day is ever the same, I suppose that’s what gives me the same buzz that I had 15 years ago. One day could be spent with manufacturers looking at new innovative gadgets that could be the next big thing, the next could be sitting with a new client signing a vehicle tracking or mobile phone agreement, or even working with our in-house engineers, designing new ways to integrate DVD screens into vehicle headrests. Every day is a new challenge for me and that’s what I love.

  • What would you do if you were invisible for the day?
    Watch Mollie my (1 year old) at nursery, I would love to see what she gets up to when we’re not there!

    ‘Agnus Dei’ by Kathrine Jenkins.
  • When was the last time your cried and why?
    Never, I am black and white and hard as nails.
  • Are you a spender or a saver?
    Never get the option, the wife takes the lot!
  • What is your favourite thing to do at a weekend?
    Go out and watch football and drink beer!

    Some say, I look like the honey monster – what do they know?
