A new study has found that almost two thirds of customers would be more likely to return to a bar or restaurant if they were able to have access to Wi-Fi.
The survey asked 1000 restaurant goers if free Wi-Fi availability would persuade them to return to the establishment, 60% replied yes. A third of customers also stated that to access special offers via Wi-Fi would make them a more devoted customer and 45% also stated that being offered incentives such as being able to pay online would do the same. One third of those surveyed said they use Wi-Fi in bars and restaurants to check for promotions whilst under a quarter use it to read reviews.
